Neighbour (ART: Low Budget)

Sometimes, the most powerful art is the simplest. Neighbour transforms an ordinary urban space into a poetic encounter using nothing but light. With a play on shadows, movement, and reflection, this low-budget installation creates an intimate connection between passersby and the environment. Paper Book Light (KIT: Interior)

More than just a lamp, the Paper Book Light is a canvas for creativity. Designed by Eleftheria Deko and produced by Vivalyte, this unique fixture was originally created for a special edition of GrD magazine, transforming lighting into an interactive experience. With its warm ambient glow, minimalist form, and made from recycled paper, it embodies sustainability while offering a poetic interplay between light, shadow, and self-expression. Voting period + guidelines

  • Voting Period: Voting opens on 7 March and concludes on 28 March.
  • Eligibility: The [d]arc awards are peer-to-peer; therefore, voting is exclusive to independent lighting designers, light artists, interior designers, architects, and product designers. Public voting is not permitted. Please ensure this is communicated clearly when seeking support for your entry.
  • Voting Requirement for Designers: To qualify for a free ticket to the 10th anniversary awards party, designers must vote in all 13 categories. Upon verification of your votes at the end of the voting period, you will receive an invitation to RSVP and confirm your attendance.
  • Entry Participants Voting: Designers who have submitted projects are still required to vote to obtain a ticket. However, you are not permitted to vote for your own company's project, including subsidiaries in other territories.
  • Prohibited Practices: Offering incentives in exchange for votes is strictly prohibited.
  • Ineligible Voters: Suppliers and other companies that provide lighting services are not eligible to participate in the voting process.
