Reggio Calabria Aeroporto dello Stretto now welcomes visitors with a dynamic architectural lighting concept inspired by the movement of water, sky, and the atmosphere of the Mediterranean landscape.
Designed by Cannata Light, the project transforms the airport into a living visual environment where light becomes part of the architecture itself. Pixel-driven LED systems integrated throughout the space create subtle motion effects and flowing gradients that enhance the passenger experience without overwhelming the building.
Vivalyte contributed several LED solutions to the project, including Pixeline Flex systems and Phantom Mesh technology, helping bring the design vision to life through flexible integration, precise control, and seamless illumination.
The result is an immersive lighting installation that combines technology, architecture, and storytelling — creating a distinctive identity for the airport both day and night.
