Beaulieu International Group‘s brand new Experience Center gives each department a unique place to showcase its products and expertise. As a large family-owned company with diverse business branches ranging from textiles to flooring, it was essential to create an inspiring space where visitors could truly experience Beaulieu’s story.
However, for some departments, such as exhibition carpet production, this presented a particular challenge. Although these high-quality carpets are produced in countless colors, they lacked striking visual elements or a compelling story to immediately captivate visitors.
To turn this challenge into an opportunity, designers of interactive experiences Ocular designed a creative solution for Beaulieu. Vivalyte provided the matching LEDs for this experience. Using vertical LED strips, the endless color options of the carpet were presented in an eye-catching and dynamic way.
The carpets themselves are present in the showroom, of course, but the LED lighting and accompanying screen content complete the story. By synchronizing the colors of the product on the LED strips and screens, an immersive experience is created in which visitors are drawn into the versatility of the trade show carpet.
This approach brings the subtle power of color to life, highlighting the aesthetic value of the product but also underscoring Beaulieu’s innovative nature. Visitors leave the Experience Center not only with knowledge about the product, but with a visual and emotional impression that lingers.
For Beaulieu, it was essential to move away from a traditional showroom where products are simply displayed side by side, to an experience center that communicates stories. This project perfectly illustrates how lighting can contribute to a complete brand experience. The LED strips not only create visual spectacle, but also reinforce the content of the displays and create a cohesive whole.
